About nodiexam

nodiexam is an exam prep site run by Nodior LLC. It offers focused, well-explained practice for trade apprenticeship tests at a fair price, starting with the IBEW aptitude test.

People applying for an electrical apprenticeship often get a test date a few weeks out, after years away from algebra. nodiexam gives them focused, well-explained practice at a fair price. The practice sticks to the topics the test covers and shows every step.

How we write the questions

We write every question ourselves, to the format and topics the test's publisher describes. They are not the test's own questions. Every algebra question comes with a worked solution, and every reading question has one answer you can point to in the passage, with the line that proves it.

How the questions are checked

Experienced reviewers are checking every question, answer and explanation. We fix anything they flag.

  • Algebra. A program writes each algebra question, then solves it again from the question text alone. If the two answers differ, or if a wrong choice also works, the question is thrown out.
  • Reading. Every reading question was answered a second time, separately, without our answer in view. Questions the second pass found unclear were rewritten. In one case the second answer differed from ours; the passage states the days outright, so that question stayed.
  • Audits. Three separate accuracy audits checked samples of the questions and the exam facts on the site. None of them found a question with a wrong answer. We fixed the smaller errors they found, such as unclear wording and a fact that needed a better source.

If you think an answer is wrong, email support@nodiexam.com with the question. We check it and fix it.
